Welcome to Oceana Pool League, the home of a pool league that is run by it's members. All aspects of the league,including rule changes, are open to members majority vote.

We are a small local league that plays all of our games within a 14 mile radius of Oceana Master Jet Base. Each team plays an equal amount of games at home and away.

Each match is a 15 game match and four round points are awarded each night. There are 3 rounds of play per night with 5 games per round. The team with the highest points each round is awarded 1 round point. The team with the highest total after 3 rounds is awarded 1 round point, for a total of 4 round point awarded for each match.

At the end of each session a banquet is held at a different team's bar. At the banquet certificates are awarded to players for all 8 ball breaks and table runs. Cash prizes are awarded to the highest average Man and Woman player. All teams are recognized and receive cash awards for each round point won during the session. Pay out per round point has run between $12.00 and $15.00 for the past 5 years.

The biggest draw to our league is that it's intended to be a fun night out. Our members are pool players that are looking to have a good time with people who have the same interest. Unsportsman like conduct is not tolerated. See Please SPORTSMANSHIP IN LEAGUE PLAY in the rule book. Anyone who can not follow that one steadfast rule will be asked to resign from the league. If they choose not to then each team will be asked to vote on whether the offender stays or goes.
